GreyHorse Bot
This is a follow on to my previous article regarding betting ideas you can use with GHB.
In V3.3 (current version) we introduced “order by index” which was mainly added so that you could bet on greyhounds by trap number.
Betfair display horse racing by price but greyhounds by trap numbers. This feature also allows you to bet on football teams by either home team (normally index 1) or away team (normally Index 2) and of course the draw which is normally index 3.
As I mentioned in horse racing the runners are normally sorted by price but often during the countdown to betting the actual order can change, which is the reason that GHB normally sorts by price, this gives us the current favourite.
While testing the bot using “order by index” on the horse racing market we had some interesting results when choosing the 2nd index runner.
As always I have to point out this is not a system we have tried for any length time but from what we have seen this would make a good stop at the first winner system because it appears there is often a winner within the first few races.
I did make a point of taking some screenshots so that you can at least see what happened over a couple of days.

In above screen shot you can see we won on the 3rd race and would have been up 1.33 (minus Betfair commission) this made us wonder if “stopping at a winner” could be the correct way of viewing these selections.

In this shot we won on the first race which we have noted as happening a few times.
I know these are not definitive proof that this system will work. But my aim here is to give you something to test and because with GHB you can bet automatically with very small stakes it gives you a great platform for trying out different scenarios.
To use this system with GHB you simply put into “Auto” mode and then change the “bet by rank or index” to index and select 2nd as shown in this screen shot.
The odds range we have been testing at is between 4 and 25, although I suspect for 2nd index it is unlikely to go above 11 or 12.
Let me know how you get on.
