Yesterdays selection, Twentyfourcarat, fell before the race got started in earnest but has time on his side to put this behind him in the coming months.
Today we are going for one of the Club Notebook horses in the form of Ace Serve (Sth 14:50). She was sold out of the Roger Varian yard and makes her debut for new connections. Having looked a little short of pace the surface should suit if she is forward enough after being off the track since last June. The 5/2 on offer with Betfred (bog) seems fair enough in a poor looking contest.
