Yesterday’s Notebook runner gave us winners with Miss Work Of Art (2.20), Izzi Top (10.56), and Vita Nova (4.10).

14.00 Newbury – Ship’s Biscuit – 24th June – Won over 1m 4f at Goodwood comprehensively. Run well subsequently.
14.15 Newmarket – Codemaster – 28th August Has scope to progress & could be amongst the best in the yard next year.
14.40 Thirsk – Harvey’s Hope – 4th March – Ran a close second in the Doncaster bumper and held a late rally from Nuts N Bolts.
14.50 Newmarket – Trovare – May 22nd – Has the size and scope to progress. Won 2 C4 since and Regal Park – 11th Sept – More to come.
15.10 Newbury – Fulgur -7th Oct – Trainer will campaign well and State Opera – 2nd Oct – Stamina horse and Loving Spirit – 10th Oct – Could be anything.
15.15 Thirsk – Dream Win – 28th August Won’t make the cut for Cambridgeshire so watch for big run in the consolation race.
15.45 Newbury – Premio Loco – 11th Sept- matter of time before wins another big race particularly on good ground and a mile.
16.20 Newbury – Cheque Book – 25th June – benefited from 7f and deserves extra credit for overcoming bad stall draw and Blanche Dubawi – 25th Mar – a huge improver and should be winning races in the next few months.
16.25 Thirsk – Green Park – 16th Oct – Can remain competitive especially over 6f on soft going and Beat The Bell – 3rd Sept A return to 6f could see another win, but been running well over 5f this season and Duchess Dora – 6th Apr – Loves decent ground and handicapped to win off 85.
16.55 Newbury – The Guru Of Gloom – 30th Apr – Look out for if stepping back up in trip.
17.00 Thirsk – Diman Waters – 9th July Keep with over 5f and fast ground.
17.30 Newbury – Mijhaar – 13th Oct – Keep with after a good debut and Midsummer Sun – 13th Apr – Expect will appreciate a bit more ease in the ground.
17.35 Thirsk – Hernando Torres – 13th Oct – Can remain competitive off a low mark of 54.
18.35 Doncaster – Another Citizen 5th Apr – Entitled to need this run after an absence of 201 days and has always looked likely to improve as a 3yr old.
20.10 Doncaster – Grissom – 18th Oct – There is a race to be won especially on soft ground. Won nto on soft.
