Last weekend the free big race tip came courtesy of one of our regular pundits in the shape of Carl Nicholson who is the guy behind the very profitable www.valuebacking.com service.
Kruzhlinin was one of his notebook horses for this season and was entered to run in the highly competitive Becher Chase at Aintree. The race was run over the Grand National course albeit at a shorter distance and Oscar Time was able to put his previous experience over these fences to good affect and emerge a gallant winner at a tasty 25/1.
The horse had shown good form in a couple of Nationals in the past off a 9lb higher mark and was always close up, jumped superbly throughout and held on gamely when challenged. It´s quite clear that he is at his best when tackling these fences, but it´s not in his plans to have another attempt at the National because connections don´t feel he stays the trip.
Carl’s fancy was held up at the back (another schooling exercise?) but kept on towards the end of the race to finish a creditable 7th at 33/1. Possibly one to have a small EW punt on in the big race come April?
For this weekend’s free horse racing tip we once again turn to our regular horse racing pundit Carl Nicholson who shares with us another of his horses to follow during the current jumps campaign. We also have a suggested bet from the new but highly profitable www.footballforecasts.uk service, but first we have a quick update of the latest Insiders Club news:-
The brand new Betting Insiders Members Report (Issue 116) is with our members right now and the feedback we are already receiving tells us it is a cracking and informative read. In fact one well respected industry figure went as far as to say that Rory Delargy’s piece on using ratings to compile tissue prices was “the best content he has ever read in the Insiders Reports” which is high praise indeed given it has been published for 9+ years!
The latest author to join our expert stable of contributors is Southwell Raceday presenter Will Bowler and his opening salvo got off to a flyer with his “Sire angles” landing a nice 4/1 winner with Weld Al Emarat making a successful debut on Tuesday’s Fibresand card.
The monthly Insiders Reports contain a mix of insightful strategies, horses to follow and betting angles that arm its readers with top notch ammo to take on the “old enemy” and those “sharp minds” on the exchanges. You can find out more including how to get your hands on a copy here.
