Daily Bulletin Friday 10th April

We are about to enter a very unusual Easter Bank Holiday weekend which, religious aspects and chocolate eggs aside, would normally have included watching an abundance of live sport on television. Due to the current restrictions most of that has been curtailed but if we search a little further afield there are events to help keep us entertained.

For example the US fare, which is shown on Sky Sports Racing or through the At The Races website on a daily basis. There may only be 5 racing tracks remaining across the pond, but Gulfstream Park and Tampa Bay Downs host decent cards on Friday and Saturday, while there are also stakes races worth $200,000 and $150,000 at Oaklawn Park, although coverage of the latter is only available via bookmaker sites.

There is also cracking racing in Australia for those of an early doors persuasion, with Randwick’s showcase Saturday morning card hosting a total of 7 Group races, with the highlight being the Group 1 Longines Queen Elizabeth Stakes. If you watched last night’s US coverage on Sky Racing you will have seen an interview with William Haggas whose Addeybb and Young Rascal will be competing down under.

Yesterday the sole runner from the current Guest Tipster Service, Value Backing Naps, managed to win so hopefully a sign of a return to the earlier form. If Carl’s contacts find anything of interest for today the selections will be added to the forum thread around 3pm this afternoon, so be sure to check your inbox for the email alert.

Many thanks for your continued support and stay safe!
