Festival Tips – Results update (End March 2018)
The 2016 campaign proved to be very profitable with 78 individual winners and 143 winners/placers where advised Each-Way from a total of 555 selections. Given the average value prices that Nick targets to achieve a 1 in 4 payout is a very commendable achievement. The suggested 200pt bank ended the year at 681.36pts and the ROI was a cracking +41.6%.
There were many highlights throughout the year such as Russe Blanc (adv EW 20/1) winning the Betfred Classic Chase at Warwick in January, Ubak (adv EW 16/1) winning the opening race on Grand National Day in April, Mckinley (adv EW 20/1) winning the final race of the 2015/16 jumps season, Ardad (adv EW 20/1) winning the Windsor Castle at Royal Ascot, and many many more!
2017 wasn’t able to reach the same dizzy heights as the previous year but overall it still ended in positive territory with just over 71 points profit. There were many that ran well but were not able to add to the tally and that was the main difference between the campaigns.
The first quarter of 2018 started well but had a slight dip in February before roaring back with a magnificent Cheltenham Festival where the 14 winners/placers produced over +100pts profit. As a result at the end of March the profit tally was sitting at +111pts coupled with a better than 50% return on investment!
