Phil Bull made a massive amount of money from betting, but not only was he a successful gambler he was also a breeder, owner, writer and publisher. It is estimated he made millions during his career.
In 1948 he launched the now internationally renowned organisation Timeform.
Phil had a shrewd attitude towards betting. He looked at the season as a whole and his form study was the same for every race.
The Weekend Bulletin (Fri 10th October)
Last weekend’s free football tips proved to be on the money with Mark Foley’s prediction that the young West Brom striker Saido Berahino would find the net during the match against Liverpool (adv 9/2).
It was a shame (unless you are a Liverpool fan) that the baggies couldn’t hold on for a draw but Saido Berahino’s fourth goal in three matches made things uncomfortable for a time just after half-time, and earned Mark’s followers a 3 ½pt profit!
For this weekend our regular horse racing pundit Carl Nicholson www.valuebacking.com returns to the hot seat and has a lively priced one for the second leg of the “autumn double”
Just before we move on to Carl’s fancy for the Cesarewitch we have a quick update from the Betting Insiders Club.
Insiders Club news
The Betting Insiders Club offers a comprehensive package for the sports betting enthusiast which includes daily tips from our own in-house developed Portfolio of proven methods, a lively and vibrant community/forum and a 52 page monthly Insiders Report crammed full of new strategies and profitable angles.
The brand new Insiders Report (Issue 114) is hot off the press and the horse racing coverage includes a duo of NH content with Part 2 of David Massey’s horses to follow and David Renham puts the 2 Mile handicap chasers under the microscope. Alongside these we have the latest instalments of the Racing Diary and VB Review and a welcome return to the fold from Rory Delargy, as well as further systems content from Tony.
The racing section is completed with an in depth review of the Qipco Champions Day and the latest results of a duo of CP Contender trials in the Research Corner article, both of which have proved to be highly profitable and will therefore be taking their respective places in the Club Portfolio going forward.
The football content includes an investigation into how promoted teams perform in the top flight of English and Spanish football, and also a plethora of Premiership punting angles to consider from Mark Foley who as seen earlier showed us how knowledgeable he is on the football scene with the 9/2 winner.
These are ably supported with more examples of how to profit from the various bookmakers offers by our Arb guru Mark and the latest round up of commercial product trials from our hard working and diligent team of testers.
We firmly believe that its readers will find this latest report enjoyable, thought provoking and a positive aid on your journey to profitable punting.
